Mother loses unborn baby due to un attendance by mid wife at Chegere Health Center II

In their monthly meeting for Atigolwok Parish Chegere Sub-County in January, the VSACs reported that on the 19th December 2011, a pregnant woman who was in labor in the company of her husband went to Chegere Health centre II. On getting there, her husband called the Askari and asked him for the mid wife as his wife was in labor. The Askari therefore went to the mid wife’s door several times but she remind silent and never opened the door. The poor mother struggled and the baby got tired and died while still in the womb.
