WOUGNET is located at Plot 55 Kenneth Dale, Off Kira Road, Kamwokya. Directions: After the Kamwokya market as you travel along Kira road, turn off to your left onto Kenneth Dale, (just before the football field and Kira Road Police Station). The Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation has produced Make Room for Peace - A guide to women's participation in peace processes written and edited by Isabelle Nilsson. The manual was created to to enhance the participation of women in peace negotiations. The guide was developed on the foundation of evidenced based research, seeking to equip third party decision makers (nationally and internationally) with effective strategies to engage women and civil society in the process of peace. Strategies involve creating an environment to build capacity and the further utilization of taught skills. |
