WOUGNET is located at Plot 55 Kenneth Dale, Off Kira Road, Kamwokya. Directions: After the Kamwokya market as you travel along Kira road, turn off to your left onto Kenneth Dale, (just before the football field and Kira Road Police Station).  Change is Visible as the youth join in to celebrate Mother's Day in May 2011. The event which took place on the new online multimedia platform partnership between HIAE and WOUGNET addressed issues like Women in ICT working towards innovation, education & Gender Equality & Empowerment of women, girls & youth leaders for change.
The participating youth were part of the Bavubuka Foundation, an organisation that believes that connecting youth with music and the arts can transform lives and unify diverse communities. They are committed to empowering youth to create positive change in their communities and the world. |
