Directions: After the Kamwokya market as you travel along Kira road, turn off to your left onto Kenneth Dale, (just before the football field and Kira Road Police Station). National Association of Women Organisations in Uganda ( NAWOU) is an indigenous umbrella organization with a membership of  Community-based , Faith based and non-governmental organizations that work with women. To see a unified body of women and women organizations with skills and capacity for NAWOU's Mission is To Promote the Growth of a Strong Women's Movement that promotes women's Rights and enhances their Social Economic Status, NAWOU' s Vision is self reliance and efficiency.

NAWOU has vacancies for an Advocacy Officer and an Accountant.

REQUIREMENTS FOR:

( 1) ADVOCACY OFFICER

• A degree in any relevant field , knowledge and skill in Gender and Human Rights,

• Should have at least 3years working experience,

• Must be a good communicator verbally and in writing, willing to work with women at national and grass root level, to travel and work outside office when need arises.

• Must be self- driven and ready to work with minimal supervision and modest remuneration.

( 2) ACCOUNTANT

• A degree or a diploma in Accounting or Finance, ACCA will be an added advantage,

• Should have experience working with NGOs

• Should be computer literate and ready to train those below you.

• Must be self-driven, a good communicator in both written and spoken, and ready to work long hours at times, in rural areas.
