EasySites is a unique new programme in Uganda that makes it possible for individuals and small or medium size organisations to have their own website, at an affordable price, including webhosting, e-mail and a domain.

The sites are developed using Drupal, an internationally recognised and secure web-development software. Drupal is a free software package that allows anyone to easily publish, manage and organize a wide variety of content on a website. Hundreds of thousands of people and organizations are using Drupal to power an endless variety of sites.

All EasySites websites are hosted on a local server (that is, hosted on a server within Uganda), which means that even with slow internet connections, especially in rural areas, it is still possible to quickly access and navigate through the site which is convenient for users.
