Directions: After the Kamwokya market as you travel along Kira road, turn off to your left onto Kenneth Dale, (just before the football field and Kira Road Police Station). | ACFODE marks Silver Jubilee |

Action for Development (ACFODE) is an indigenous based organisation in Uganda that has been advocating for gender equality since 1985. 2010 marks ACFODE's Silver Jubilee year which is being celebrated under the theme "25 years of Gender Equality; Embracing the Youth and Looking Ahead". Activities to mark the Jubilee include an Inter-university debate under the theme "Are Women's Organisations still relevant in Uganda?", and an Inter-primary school drama and song competition under the theme "The future of the women of Uganda". On Monday 15th November, ACFODE has organised a SOLIDARITY MARCH that will have hundreds of women and men marching the streets of Kampala from Jinja Road Railway to ACFODE offies in Bukoto showing solidarity and support towards gender work and oneness. All well wishers are invited to join the march.
