Membership in WOUGNET is by participation in the WOUGNET online space. Membership is open to anyone interested in promoting or supporting the use of ICTs for sustainable development with an emphasis on activities directly related to Ugandan women. There is no fee for WOUGNET membership, which is available at three levels:

·         Individual: This level is for individuals. To join, one needs to simply subscribe to the general WOUGNET mailing list (wougnet-l ) currently hosted at Pamoya. Go to the Pamoya website and register to create your account, you can then join the mailing list group.

·         Organisation: This level is for women organisations based in Uganda and duly registered with the National NGO Board or at district level for CBOs. To join, an organisation needs to subscribe to the WOUGNET mailing list following the process at Pamoya as described above. In addition, organisations need to submit a copy of their Registration Certificate, provide a profile on the WOUGNET website and fill out an Organisation Entry Form which you can request through  This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .  Organisations will also have links created to their websites (where applicable).

·         Affiliate: This level is for organisations that are not women-based organisations in Uganda (and other foreign/international organisations), that are interested in the use of ICTs for sustainable development in Uganda and worldwide. To join, an organisation needs to subscribe to the WOUGNET mailing list on Pamoya .

  Please note the following;
  
  1. For a monthly update of what is happening at WOUGNET, choose to join the WOUGNET-Update Newletter list (wougnet-update). This option is especially of benefit to members that do not have regular access to email/the Internet and don't want to have they mailbox filled-up when they are unable to check their email. They can still disseminate as well as receive information via the Newsletter.
  
  2. Additionally, register separately on the WOUGNET website to be able to post content or comment on articles on the website. You can register on the website by clicking Register in the Log-in Menu on your left.
  
  3. Please note that Pamoya is a social network hosting groups/mailing lists for different organisations and individuals. The WOUGNET groups are clearly marked with the WOUGNET Logo.
