International Camp on Info-Activism 19th – 25th February 2009 PDF Print E-mail

Info-Activism is an approach which helps rights advocates to tactically utilize information, communications and digital technologies to enhance advocacy work.

Tactical Tech has organized an international camp on info-activism scheduled to take place between the 19th and 25th of February 2009 in Bangalore, India. The seven-day camp is organized in collaboration with Aspiration .

This first-ever international camp will feature 120 participants, picked through a competitive selection process, who will not only learn but also share skills and techniques to aid in the process of advocacy. Workshops, group discussions, interactive sessions and live demos are all part of the one-week programme.

Tactical Tech believes that new technologies have significant potential to enhance the work of campaigners and advocates, giving them the tools to gather and analyze information and the means to turn that information into action.
