Call for Applications: EASSI 2011 Young Women's Leadership Training Program

The Eastern African Sub-regional Support Initiative for the Advancement of Women (EASSI) is now receiving applications for the 2011 Young Women's Leadership Training Programme to take place for two months (June/July 2011).

The 2011 program is unique, highly competitive and intensive. It will draw participants from all the eight member countries of EASSI (Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, Eritrea, Somalia, and Ethiopia). This year, there are eight scholarships - one for each member country and eight more slots for self sponsored participants in order to accommodate more beneficiaries of this opportunity as well as have a bigger impact on the women's movement especially during the African Women's Decade (2010 - 2020).
