Directions: After the Kamwokya market as you travel along Kira road, turn off to your left onto Kenneth Dale, (just before the football field and Kira Road Police Station). WOUGNET 10th Anniversary Celebrations: The Bigger Picture

Women of Uganda Network (WOUGNET) celebrated 10 years of empowering women and women organizations through the use of ICTs on 1st and 2nd June 2010 at Hotel Africana in Kampala, Uganda. Among the activities to mark the celebrations, was a one week SMS awareness campaign which took place from 24th to 29th May 2010, a two day exhibition and a one day symposium.           

In attendance was Mr. Ambrose Ruyoka, Commissioner, Ministry of ICT, who represented the Honorable State Minister of ICT Hon. Alintuma Nsambu during the celebration. He congratulated WOUGNET for the 10 years achievements and pledged to support her in her future work.
