Mission Seed Foundation - Uganda aims at offering psycho-social and economic empowerment to its beneficiaries.

Seed Foundation - Uganda is committed to a holistic Christian community of love and care for the poor women and girls living on the margin of their communities in Uganda, to promote wholeness of life for all God's people.

SFU's objectives are to:

  • Provide pastoral and social economic services to the rural and urban poor women and girls.
  • Provide Adult literacy in primary health care, food nutrition and hygiene for their well-being.
  • Provide a forum for the disadvantaged women and girls to socialize, share personal experiences and talents.
  • Advocate for the rights of poor women and youth and for access to social economic services.
  • Network with other organizations with similar objectives, locally and internationally, on the basis of mutual co-operation, exchange of resources and experiemces.
  • Support the development initiatives and skills of struggling women and girls through provision of seed funds.

Additional Information Seed Foundation - Uganda (SFU) is a voluntary charitable organization, registered with the Uganda National Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs) Board since 1998. It was born out of a deep-rooted concern for the poor particularly widows, single mothers, poor women and girls in the rural and urban communities of Uganda. SFU is a faith based organisation; SFU promotes Jesus' command "love one another; even as I have loved you".
