| Additional Information |
The best medium for mobilization and dissemination of knowledge/information in Africa is through the medium of music, dance and drama. However, this remains in the locality where it is made and is often lost and forgotten because it is not recorded and stored thus limiting information dissemination.
RISA proposes to:
Implement a rural community based ICT Centre, for providing affordable access to modern information and for creation and exchange of local material for development. A simple audio recording studio and a data center giving information such as local area data and that downloaded from the Internet. The location of the proposed center is at Nakirubi 25km along Kayunga-Jinja road in Kangulumira Sub-county, Kayunga Disrict.
