MWEA was formed with the aims of counseling widows and orphans, equiping women with skills and knowledge in preventing HIV/AIDS, comforting one another and making members wealthy. MWEA seeks for funding to further the organisations objectives.
MWEA approaches its programs and activities through the following strategies:
- Availing members with functional capacity building workshops and seminars on:

- Household environment
- Sensitisation
- Will making
- Project planning and Implementation
- Orphans-self sustaining
- Sports and recreation for social distress alleviation
- Set up an office in Mpigi Town Council
- Avail the office with equipment and operation utilities
- Procuring assistance for the needy orphans
- Resource mobilization for putting up organisational initiatives
- Put up a loan service revolving fund for members households economic development.
