Kyabuhangwa Women In Development is a not for profit, non-political organisation that was established in 1996 to enhance social-economic, legal and political development to empower women with information and skills to exercise their rights and spur developments. This social contract provides a coherent framework within which poverty, violence, ill health, illiteracy, unemployment, environmental degradation, hunger, oppression and disunity can be effectively addressed. It is located in Kyabuhangwa parish, Kamwezi sub-county, Kabale District. It is aiming at soliciting local resources, donor funds and government support to empower vulnerable groups especially women.
