Mission To uplift the standard of living with in the rural folk of Apac by introducing income generating activities with much emphasis on women and youth.
Geographical area of operations Aduku Township, South West of Lira town (22km) and South East of Apac (15km)
Issues area of operations Basic education, Girl child education, Agriculture, environment, reproductive health, poverty eradication and gender.
Activities
  • Functional adult literacy is being undertaken intergrated with sensitizations on gender, reproductive health, agricultural productivity that gear towards poverty eradication.
  • Disbursement of small soft loan to boost the income of active poor women strictly.
  • Lobbying and advocating for women's economic empowerment
Affiliation(s) Strengthening Decentralisation in Uganda (SDU), a USAID funded project based on capacity building.

Target Audience Women, orphans, youth, people with disability and men.
Additional Information The organisation also has 8 executives and 11 boards of directors with 300 members, 75% being women and 25% men. With the capacity building assistance received from SDU a USAID funded project, we are now a registered district base NGO operating in Apac.
The organisation is well established and has the capacity of implementing its activities but financial constraints is a major challenge to both beneficiaries and project administrators. The registration was done at both NGO Board and Crane Chambers.
