Mission The group fully subscribes to the statement of mission of it’s own. Of utmost importance is the offering of logical opportunity for growth by accepting a woman of her level of ability and interest and providing her the opportunity for advancement to her point of optimum benefit.
  • To prepare the woman for a life of service that is relevant and useful by anticipating the future needs and directions of human rights progress and by maintaining a conscious flexibility (woman) to meet those needs.
  • To facilitate the integration of human lives into a technological society for the uplift of humankind and for the honour of the creator.
  • To build a sound educational base for our children into professional areas, further academic education and a lifetime of self-development and learning as a technology progress within a changing society.
  • To do business, be it local, national or international which will empower the women economically and which will help the women in fighting poverty in the society they belong and in the world at large.
  • To work in collaboration with conservation agencies in order to maintain our environment (The Flora and Fauna).
Geographical area of operations We operate in our area of Olchorro-Onyori in Kipeto Sub location in Keekonyokie location of Kajiado District of Rift Valley province of the Republic of Kenya. Olchorro-Onyori is the home ground of our group but most of our members come from the nearby Oloirien, Ilmasin, Olmorijoi and Enkurunkat. This operation area is approximately 80 km form Nairobi (the capital city of Kenya). The nearest shopping center is Kiserian, which is about 25 km.
Issues area of operations Women’s Education; Women’s Economic Empowerment; Women’s Human rights; Women in conservation.
Activities The main activities are:- Selling milk to one buyer, buying and selling of manure, making and selling of beads (beadwork) and cutting and burning charcoal. (This practice has ceased since we are now involved in conservation). Among the activities the group intends to introduce a health program of building pit latrines in all homes and which will be a priority number one in our health program.
Affiliation(s) Our group stands on it’s own, we have never received funds from anywhere or in partnership with any group. Our activities started from our own donation and revolving funds. This is our first time we are looking for partners. We wanted to help ourselves in someway first.
Dissemination We intend to make brochures and newsletters and will in the future high light our activities through the media, radio and television. Immediately we get empowered economically; we shall have a website which will let our viewers and the donors to view what we do.
Target Audience Our main target will be the women of the whole world who migth have not yet known their rights as women and who have limited Education and are marginallised in all aspects of life.
