The group meets every Tuesdays and Thursdays on a weekly basis before members go in to their farms
and on a general monthly meeting every last Saturday of the month. During the weekly meetings members discuss
issues affecting them personally and in respects to their farms/crops. Also members are taught about farming
methods, appropriate fertilizers to apply for a good yield, basic English and mathematics, current affairs
around the world, home economics and issues as the need arises. Members are taught basic computer skills and
internet surfing skills and encouraged to surf the net for information on agriculture and health.

Taking into cognizance the situation of things in Nigeria, the group though informal but now more
enlightened seeks to make an impact through exposure internationally and also attract funding from
international organizations most especially as every often the group members are often left behind when
fertilizers are allocated hence have to buy paying so much for very little. The sad reason being that we are
women with no money.
